Squirrels
1st Faversham Squirrel Drey meets on Monday nights at 4:30pm, at Shepherd Park.
Squirrels are young people, aged 4 to 6, who:
- Discover new things and have fun
- Make friends and go on adventures
- Grow curious about the world around them
- Learn to help others and work as a team
Being a Squirrel is all about having fun while learning and growing in small, exciting ways. Here are just some of the things you’ll get up to with your new friends.
Exploring the great outdoors
Squirrels love to play and explore outside, and our Drey is based outdoors in our purpose built woodland area. You might build a bug hotel, hunt for autumn leaves, splash in puddles, or even toast marshmallows around a campfire. Adventures don’t have to be far away — at Squirrels, the fun starts right on your doorstep!
Trying new activities and learning new things
Squirrels is all about learning by doing. Whether it’s crafting, building, cooking, or playing games, every session is a new chance to explore, imagine, and create.
Squirrels start building important life skills too — like confidence, kindness, teamwork, and curiosity. You’ll learn how to give things a go, bounce back when things don’t go to plan, and feel proud of yourself for trying.
Helping others
Squirrels work together, looking out for each other and lending a helping hand, whether it’s tidying up, comforting a friend, or making a difference in the community. Little paws can make a big impact!
